i am in the middle of drinking coffee, organizing clothes and our laundry pile of insanity, and of course, being absolutely and totally productive before heading to union square, to matta's birthday party @ maria hernandez park, and then back home again for d & d with husband, rebekah, and jon. (so excited.)

super awesome veda awesomeness
...so veda is sitting beside me and drawing. she says to me, "mamma. look here." then she proceeds to study my face and draw and study my face and draw some more. she's already practicing life drawing!!! coolest start of the day ever!!! ^_^ had to share. now i'm off.
WHHS REUION - seriously people. what is up.
i inadvertently ended up sort of helping to organize our 10 year high school reunion. odd, right? i thought so. anyway, here's my latest official reunion post from the renegade reunion myspace site.

as you may or may not have heard, we didn't have enough people pre-pay for the reunion at tanner's. so i suppose instead of having something "formal," we're just showing up from 6:00-9:00 on the 13th.
i've heard that some people are mad that it's at tanner's b/c they always hang out there anyway.
so if you or one of your friends is one of these people, you need to (in the words of britney spears) DO something! don't just bitch about it at home and randomly go somewhere else in rebellion to the idea of tanner's. what's your idea? seriously? we want to know!
i'm all for tanner's b/c it's the ghetto-FABULOUS jewel of winter haven. and it's so completely fitting that our reunion would be there.
i have no idea how we'd go about moving it to nora mayo hall or to the high school gym or something, so for now, tanner's it is.
BUT as i said, if you have some amazingly better solution, you'd better speak up b/c the date is set and it's less than a month away.
and if you're a hater, have an awesome time not at the reunion (that is not an official reunion comment--just a personal comment from yours truly). i can't wait to see everyone who wants to be there--not for the location, but for the PEOPLE! it's all about the people, PEOPLE. (!!!)
